OARS Migration Scheduled for Weekend of December 5

You are receiving this message because you have been identified as someone who has used the Online Access Request System (OARS) on more than one occasion in the last six months.

Hello,

As reported previously, OARS will migrate to a new database and application platform the weekend of December 5. The OARS system will be unavailable for users beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, December 4 through Monday morning, December 7. The new OARS platform will be available Monday, December 7 at 7 a.m.

New OARS will be noticeably different from the current version. Along with a new look and feel, it will be faster, more secure, and more flexible. Visit the OARS Migration upgrade page for a complete list of benefits of the new OARS, what’s changing, and what’s not.

Actions to Take Before the Migration

Please complete and submit any outstanding saved OARS requests in the current system prior to December 2. Doing so will help the project team prepare for the migration to the new OARS.
