Upgrade Reporting Impacts

The SA/HRMS upgrade to PeopleSoft v.9 requires changes to some table and field structures in HEPROD, HEODS, and the U-M Data Warehouse. Various reports may need to be updated to work properly after the upgrade. Use the links to learn more.

General Reporting Information

• Pre-upgrade versions of HEODS and the U-M Data Warehouse will be available during upgrade weekend (5:00 p.m., June 5 – 7:00 a.m., June 9).
• HEODS will be refreshed and updated to v.9 soon after the HEPROD upgrade. Date and time to come.
• Affected U-M Data Warehouse data sets will be refreshed and updated with new structures at staggered, but appropriate times after the upgrade.
• Vista Plus to be retired on October 1, 2008.
  • Reports previously viewed with Vista Plus will be available through Report Manager or the U-M Data Warehouse after the June upgrade.
  • Vista Plus reports generated before 6/5/08 will be available until September 2008.
  • Use the U-M Predefined Reports Directory for an up-to-date listing of the tool for each report. It will reflect the upgrade changes on June 9. You can view by data area, business process, or environment
