- Improved Data Integration Between Enrollment and Academic Requirements.
- New integrated features will allow students and advisors to understand prior to enrollment how well selected classes will meet the student’s academic requirements.
- New “Center” Designs for SA self-service transactions.
- Redesigned layout of Student Business, Teaching Support, New & Prospective Students and Parent/Family.
- New Student Services Center.
- Access to view key information about a student through the new Student Services Center which allows staff to ‘see what the student sees’ in self service transactions.

- Improved Ability to Track People with New “Person Model.”
- New person data structure to enhance tracking of a person’s relationship with the University.
- Use of existing data fields to determine employment status with University will discontinue the need for employment record number ranges (i.e. 0-29 = reg).
- Easier Time Reporting.
- More intuitive and convenient time entry for current self-service and online timesheet users.
- Allows for smoother transition to the online process for those still using paper.
- Simplified ‘File Attach’ Process for Merit Processing.
- New process replaces the current FTP process.
- New technology allows users to complete pay actions (outside of merit) throughout the year.
General
- Reporting.
- Vista Plus will be retired. Converted reports previously viewed with Vista Plus will be available through Report Manager or the U-M Data Warehouse
- Table and field changes in the U-M Data Warehouse to reflect M-Pathways HRMS and SA changes. U-M Data Warehouse predefined reports will also be updated.
