Training Registration

Training Registration Information

Many training courses are available to help you learn to use the M-Pathways systems, the U-M Data Warehouse and eMploy.

Important: In most cases, your access to these systems must be approved by MAIS before you can register for a class. See How to Request Access for more information.

How to Register for a Training Course

To locate and register for a training course, log into the MAIS Learning & Information Center (MAIS LINC) system with your uniqname and UMICH (Kerberos) password, and follow the steps below.

1. Click Catalog, which is near the middle of the first page.
2. Locate Courses, which is near the middle of the page.
3. Click Courses to display all courses, or click one of the subcategories to display courses for that subcategory.
4. Use one of the following methods to select a course:
   • Locate the course you want to take from the list that displays, and click the Register button at the right of the course name.
     -- OR --
   • If you want to read the course description before registering, click the name of the course you want to take from the list that displays. Then on the next page, click Register myself on the left side of the page.
5. For instructor-led training, select the date and time of the session you want to attend.
6. Click the Finish button above the course selection list to complete the registration.
