Resolving Issues with DART Browser Settings
Having trouble logging in? Please complete all of the following steps to resolve any DART Browser issues.
Currently, the recommended browser is IE 8.
A Page or Form Failed to Display in DART
Are you receiving any "yellow triangle" errors, or do certain pages/tabs fail to load in DART? Use the following steps to resolve these errors:
- Option 1: Clear your Application Cache
- Exit DART
- Navigate to C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Apps
- If there is a folder called 2.0, delete the entire folder
- Log back in to DART
- Option 2: Adjust Internet Explorer Settings
- Exit DART
- Open Internet Explorer
- Go to Tools > Internet Options
- On the Advanced tab, unmark the Do not save encrypted pages to disk option
- Click Apply
- Click OK
- Log back in to DART
OR
- Exit DART
- Open Internet Explorer
- Go to Tools > Internet Options
- On the Advanced tab, click the Restore advanced settings button
- Click OK
- Close all browser windows
- Log back in to DART
- Option 3: Turn on Authenticode Settings
- Exit DART
- Open Internet Explorer
- Go to Tools > Internet Options
- On the Security tab, click the Trusted sites zone
- Click the Custom level button
- In the Settings section, scroll down to the Run components not signed with Authenticode section
- Click Enable
- Click OK
- Log back in to DART
Still receiving errors in DART?
Try the following:
- Clear your IE Cache
- Open Internet Explorer and navigate to Tools > Internet Options
- Select the General tab
- Click the Delete button
- Select the Temporary Internet files, Cookies and History checkboxes
- Click Delete
- Close IE
- Rule out a security permissions issue:
- Have someone else from your department that uses DART log into DART from your machine
- Verify that they receive the same error as you
- If they do not receive the same error as you, contact the ITS Service Center and make sure to include the uniqname of the user that did not receive the error
- Rule out a profile issue:
- Have someone else log into your machine so their profile is loaded (It is best to have someone log in that uses DART without error on their own machine)
- Log into DART and verify that you receive the same error
- If you do not receive the same error, contact your computer support staff to have them reset your profile
