Academic Advising Using Degree Audit Reports
Overview
The M-Pathways Student Administration system provides Degree Audit
reports, which are used by the Degree Audit Office in partnership with
academic units. Degree Audit Reports can only be generated for students
where the academic requirement rules have been encoded.
The Degree Audit Report provides information about the academic requirements
needed for graduation. It can be used for:
- Academic advising
- Tracking a student's progress toward graduation
- Degree clearance
- Assisting with enrollment selection
- Confirming exceptions approved for a student
The Degree Audit Report is an internal University document used to
assist the advisor and the student. It is not an official transcript
or an official U-M document. It is confidential and may be released
only to the student and the student's advisor.
