Description: Incorporating HR decision data and metrics into the business of human resources has been the “new frontier” for the HR profession for the past several years. The emergence of the concept of Business Intelligence has “upped the ante” in the collection and use of decision data to create knowledge leading to more effective workforce management strategies. In this session, the presenters will discuss human resource business intelligence at Michigan including the 4th year of the HR metrics web-based toolkit, the latest edition of an enterprise-wide Human Capital Report, courses to educate HR professionals and plans for the future. They will spotlight some of the key human capital trends at Michigan. And you will have an opportunity to “get on board” by signing up for access to the metrics web-based toolkit and training.

Title: Improving Student Service with Web Application Status |

Description: New M-Pathways functionality allows departments to display the status of an admission application to applicants including credentials missing or received, admissions recommendations and decisions, and the ability for applicants to accept or decline an offer of admission on-line. Departments using this feature have reported reduced phone and email volume from anxious applicants.
