Announcements and Reminders: Jan Eckert

• eMploy Announcement: Currently the eMploy system (hardware and software) is hosted in a data center in Boston, MA. Over the past several months, MAIS has been working with Deploy on moving the hosted system to a U-M data center in Ann Arbor. This work is targeted to be complete in mid-November, and further details will be sent to UL's and users via e-mail.
• Reminder from Access Services: With the implementation of the Online Access Request System (OARS), it is now possible to check the assigned roles for a staff member in your unit before submitting a new access request. To do so, select “View Current Security For My Department(s)” and follow the instructions.
• The Citrix-based BusinessObjects version 5.1 will be retired at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 26. After that time, use BusinessObjects XI R2 through Wolverine Access. Users will need their uniqname, UMICH (Kerberos) password, and an MToken to log in.
