Norel Tullier, University Payroll, will provide information about a number of topics including June LEO lump sum payments, SPG changes for human subject incentive payments, and 2/12’s payments for Schedule II U-Year conversion to Schedule I.

What’s New in Effort Certification? – 10 minutes

Diane Winter, Financial Operations, will share information about electronic tracking of the paper “As Needed Reports” and other modifications as well as provide an overview of the work that’s being done by a committee that’s developing HR best practices as they relate to effort reporting. Mandie Chapman will demonstrate the new Self Service Effort Certification Report.

Update from HRRIS: 2009 Cutoff Dates, Reminders, and More – 15 minutes

Sherri Hermansen, UHR, will cover cutoff dates for fall appointment processing and provide a checklist of upcoming activities that faculty and staff will be asked to review, validate or update during the fall via self-service or online.

Introduction to the Online Help Desk – 15 minutes

The Online Help Desk, a new Web-based customer support option, is available to administrative systems users. Andrea Stevens will describe this new option, show you how to access and use it, and tell you about the “getting started” resources that are available to you and staff members in your unit.

The MCommunity Directory and Sponsor System—And You – 30 minutes

Janet Eaton and Jeanne Horvath will describe the new MCommunity Directory and Sponsor System and how it will directly affect the work you do. They’ll tell you how the new services affect the ways people in your area can protect the privacy of their directory information and the way you get uniqnames for contractors, temporary staff, and others.

eRecruit Project – 20 minutes

Jane Miller, UHR, will present an update on the eRecruit Project including the status, overall timeline, team constitution, and what is planned for unit preparations.
