Web ChartField Converter

Web ChartField Converter

The ChartField Converter translates a ShortCode into its equivalent ChartField combination. The Web converter is updated nightly, Monday-Friday.

Web Converter

Enter a ShortCode or a range of ShortCodes in the ShortCode(s) field and click Convert.

Notes:

• When entering a range of ShortCodes to convert, you may enter a department id (e.g., 170500) in the DeptID field to narrow the resulting list.
• Departmental ShortCodes do not contain the Business Unit or Account ChartField values.
• ShortCodes for balance sheet activities conducted by University Central Offices may include an Account value.
• You can look up valid values for separate fields in the Excel spreadsheet listed on the Valid Values page.
