RapidPlayer Browser Plug-In for Windows
To use simulations in MAIS LINC, the MAIS eLearning Web environment and document repository, Windows users must have the RapidPlayer Web-browser plug-in software on their computers.
Note: Macintosh users do not need the RapidPlayer plug-in; they access MAIS LINC through a browser deployed on Citrix.
The RapidPlayer plug-in enables Windows users to access training simulations that are modeled on actual transactions performed in the M-Pathways systems and in the U-M Data Warehouse.
Supported Browser/Operating System Combinations
Users need one of the following browser/operating system combinations on their computers to run training simulations with the RapidPlayer plug-in:
- Internet Explorer 6 on Windows 2000
- Internet Explorer 6 on Windows XP
- Internet Explorer 7 on Windows XP

Download, Install, and Test RapidPlayer
- Uninstall any previous version of Rapid Player you have on your computer
- Install RapidPlayer 5 plug-in for Internet Explorer 6 and Internet Explorer 7 .
- Make sure the RapidPlayer plug-in is working correctly by running the
sample simulation.
