One of David’s responsibilities involves buying office equipment. He performs various financial transactions for his department.

Jackie is an HR administrator who has access to salary information.

Debbie, David, and Jackie are three University employees who use UM administrative systems to do their jobs. Although each employee performs different jobs within the University, they share a common responsibility: they must be responsible users of administrative data.  As data users, Debbie, David, and Jackie must agree to:

• Fulfill all of the requirements associated with gaining system access.
• Adhere to regulations (Federal and State) and University policies governing the access, handling, and protection of sensitive administrative data.
