About MAIS
Michigan Administrative Information Services (MAIS) designs, implements,
and supports U-M administrative information systems and processes.
The systems include the M-Pathways systems -- Financials/Physical
Resources System, Human Resources Management System, and Student
Administration System -- as well as the eMploy applicant management system, the Development/ Alumni Constituency
(DAC) System, and numerous smaller systems that support various aspects
of the University's business.

Under the direction of MAIS
Leadership, the following divisions and service units carry
out the work of MAIS:
MAIS Advisory Committee
The MAIS Advisory Committee advises the
Associate Vice President for Administrative Information Services
on matters related to administrative information systems and services.
Sponsors and Partners
MAIS reports to the Office of the Executive Vice President and
Chief Financial Officer. However, because the integrated information
services and systems provided by MAIS cross U-M organizational boundaries,
MAIS collaborates closely with other U-M offices that have responsibility
for data content and business processes. This partnership ensures
coordination between the functionality of the software applications
and the requirements of the University's business activities. MAIS
